10 by 7 3/4 in (25 by 19.5 cm).
Hand signed by a prominent Russian-Ukrainian painter M. Bozhiy.
Bozhiy M.M. (b. 09/20/1911) - a well-known artist, specializing in portraits and large political posters. His works are displayed in major Russian museums, such as Moskow Art's Museum, Kiev's Ukrainian Arts Museum, etc. Also, his exhibitions were on display at USA, Chech Rep., Cyria, Italy and others.
Bozhyi - Meritorious Artist Ukr.SSR (1957), Member-Correspondent (1958), People's Artist of Ukraine (1960) and People's Artist of USSR (1963).
Note: only very few were allowed to paint the portrait of the "Father of Nations" in his life time!
Hand signed by Joseph Stalin in top left corner in red pencil.
It is what's known as his "short signature".

GOCH, Mitrofan (Dmitry) Sviridovich.
Born August 5(18), 1912.
Finished Odessa's Art School (1937-1947), with such famed teachers as D.K.Kraynev and G.S.Tenner. For diplomic work used deco. vase "30 years of October" and sculpture group "Victory" (under supervision of N.A.Pavluk). Active participant of Art Exibitions (Kiev). Among his works (porcelian):
composition "National Anthem of USSR" (1949, presently on display in the State Historical Museum, Moscow, Red Square), etc. His works are well known outside Russia(His works were exibited in Colombo-1955, Marsel-1960 Genua-1963, Melburn-1964, Poznan'-1964, and others.)
Also, well known for works on metal, for example, "Anatomy" and "Osteology" (1744) by A.Krupinsky, portraits, landscapes, "View of Konstantinople" (1778), "View of Jerusalem", etc., battlefield compositions, such as "Assault of Pochaev by Turks in 1675" (1790). Strong at religious themes: "Pochaev's Mother of God", "Reshnevskaya Mother of God" (w/apostol Peter, receiving the keys), etc. Some of his works are stored at Kiev-Pechorskaya Lavra.
Ingraving works on metal were often published in "Sluzhebnik", "Trephologion", and other literature publications.
Sometimes, signed his works as "Adam Goczemski", or "A.G.".
